Mildred Marie (Nelson) Jean, 68, of Fordland, MO, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021. She was born May 3, 1953, in Emporia, Ks, to Charles and Selma Nelson.

Mildred loved her family and the auctions.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Grant Nelson Sr; and step-son, Charles Ives Jean.

Mildred is survived by her husband of 31 years, Richard Jean; mother, Selma Nelson; siblings, Darlene Melton, Joyce Phegley and husband Larry of Vincennes, IN, Carol Stone and husband Bob of Elsberry, MO; Terry Rector or Jasper, MO, and Grant Nelson of Fair Play, MO; son, Michael Shipman of Monett, MO; step-children, Richard Jean and wife Kathy of Springfield, MO, Theresa Jean of Springfield, MO, and Steven Jean and wife Andrea of Halltown, MO; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, Monday, October 25, 2021 at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W Woodland St, Springfield, MO. Graveside services will follow at Noon in the White Oak Cemetery, Delzell Road, Rogersville, MO 65742.
