Mildred Blankenship

Mildred Alice Blankenship, 94, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. She was born November 22, 1931, in Dove, Missouri, to Stewart and Lorene Floyd.

Mildred loved her family and friends and cherished the time she spent with them. She especially enjoyed cooking for everyone and sharing meals together. She was a member of Willard Presbyterian Church and will be remembered for the love and kindness she shared with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Blankenship; her sons, Mike and Mark Crane; and her parents, Floyd and Lorene Gurley.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Jim) Aton of Springfield; daughter-in-law, Cara Crane of Republic; her brother, Jim Gurley of California; her grandchildren, Daryn (Rebecca) Clevenger of Willard, Dallas (Jorgia) Clevenger of Rogersville, Jason (Cami) Coleman of Willard, Mattia (Kevin) Willis of Republic, and Lori (Loren) Peterson of Texas; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
