Michael "Mike" Clark McFarland, 75, of Springfield, MO passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024. He was born October 21, 1948, to Clark and Elvira McFarland in St. Louis City, MO.

He worked as a Geologist for the Department of Natural Resources and was a published author. His first book was about the abandoned mining systems in and around Joplin, MO. His second book was a self-published novel. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
