Blaine "Mike" Garton was born August 22, 1943, and passed away October 25, 2024, after a brief illness.

Mike was dedicated and baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in February of 1961.  Once he began studying the Bible he knew he had to share what he was learning and thus began many years of teaching others about God's promises.

While growing a family business with his son Zach, he enjoyed building and remodeling Kingdom Halls in Missouri and Kansas, combining his love for Jehovah with his love for the construction trade.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Garton; daughter, Virginia Fenton and husband, Daniel; son, Michael Garton Jr, and wife Kim; son, Zachary Garton and wife Sabrina. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Casey Garton and wife Sarah, Sam Gardner, Madison Garton, Keatyn Garton, Caylee Garton and Cash Garton; 4 great-grandchildren, Kameron Jewel, Axel James, Isabella Ann and Zoey Elizabeth; and niece, Deborah Kanyo and husband Jim.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Ozark, MO Kingdom Hall. If you are unable to physically attend the service, please feel free to join us by Zoom at 819-754-4631 Code 593326.
