Michelle Renee Tilley, 49, of Springfield, MO passed away Monday, 31, 2022. She was born August 4, 1973, to Casey Portillo and Joe Burkett in Las Cruces, NM.

Michelle was the wife of Todd Tilley and the proud mother of Luke Alan Tilley. She was a special education teacher and loved the children in her classroom like they were her own. She was a good woman, an avid Chiefs fan, and most importantly a Grandmother to be.

She is survived by her husband, Todd Tilley; her son and his wife, Luke and Madyson Tilley; and her parents, Casey Portillo and Joe Burkett; Yoli Apodaca, Jessica Chavez, David Austin, Joey Austin and many cousins

Michelle was a Christian and an all-around vibrant person and will be missed dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
