Michael was born in Springfield Missouri on March 30th, 1954. He was a Missourian boy through and through. His adventurous spirit took him all over America working different jobs like oil rigging and construction. A master craftsman in his own right, Mike could make anything he set his mind to. His creative spirit drew him to every form of art. He could paint, draw, sculpt, take photographs, make jewelry, and even dabbled in Missouri moonshine.

Michael was a free spirit and loved to live life on his own terms. He enjoyed seeing the road on his motorcycle, exploring the ocean on his boat, and taking photos on a safari in Africa. A lover of history and philosophy, Mike could spend hours debating and talking with friends. He loved a game night and was as competitive as people come, A fierce risk opponent and master of backgammon. He was an active member of the Eagles club chapter 4278 in Cape fair and loved participating in events with his fellow members.

Mike was loved by all who knew him. His warmth and kindness is reflected in the friendships he maintained throughout his life. If you knew him, he probably put a tattoo or two on you as well. He is a wonderful brother, cousin, father, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed by those that survive him.

Michael passed away peacefully in his own bed surrounded by family. While those who love him are sad to say goodbye, we celebrate a life filled with passion and freedom. His celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Club chapter 4278 In Cape Fair Missouri on March 8th from 2-5pm for anyone in the area wishing to connect and share happy memories.
