Michael Brandon Smith, 44, a lifelong resident of Greene County, Missouri, left this earth on Friday, December 1, 2023. He was born in Cox North Hospital on January 8, 1979, to Keith Smith and Rhonda Holdren of Rogersville, Missouri. He is survived by his parents, his brother Christopher Smith, his sister Rhiannon Smith, and his children, Jamie Smith and Elliot Smith. Michael was deeply loved by his family, his friends, his church, and his community, and his loss leaves a hole in the lives of so many people.

A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, December 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of Freedom City Church, 1477 N. Broadway Avenue, in Springfield. Felons, junkies, and saints are welcome to attend.
