Michael Ray Jones, 69, of Weir, KS, passed away February 10, 2021. He was born September 27, 1951, in Pittsburg, KS at Mt. Carmel Hospital, to Melvin Jones and Helen Walker Jones.

He was a retired pipe fitter, with one of his assignments being the piping production of the airport runway in Denver, Colorado.

Mike married Kimberly A. Roberts in 1986, they later divorced. He enjoyed playing the trumpet and feeding nearby wildlife.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Walker Jones, and his father, Melvin "String" Jones.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Jessica Jones; his sister, Mary Lou Simone; and his brothers, William Jay Jones, and Pat Jones.

Family graveside services to be held at a later time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
