Michael "Mike" Lester Hayden, 71, of Springfield, MO, passed away October 13, 2019. He was born August 29, 1948, in Springfield, MO, to Lester and Freda Hayden.

Mike worked in the Springfield area operating his roofing and construction company for many years. Family was what he always valued the most and he loved spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, camping, working with computers, and in his younger days, he enjoyed riding motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Freda Hayden; father, Lester Hayden; and brother, Jerry Hayden.

Michael is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruth Hayden; children, Cheryl Hayden, Michael Hayden and Christina McQueen and husband Larry; five grandchildren, Marcus Brison, Brendon Brison, Alyssa Brison, Alexander McQueen and Audrey McQueen; sister, Barbara Harrison; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
