Michael Brent Foshee, 73, of Springfield, MO passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024. He was born December 15, 1950, to Ray Barnett and
Annie "Louise" Foshee in Gadsden, AL. Michael shared his mother's sense of humor and had a special bond with his grandparents, Dorothy and Earl Johnson. He spent many summers with them learning how to make homemade biscuits, gardening, and farming.

Michael was a playful, fun-loving parent who took his children on many outdoor adventures. Later in life, he became a friend to his adult children. He enjoyed talking about the meaning of life with his eldest daughter, Rachel Foshee. He also liked collecting antiques and taking walks in nature. Michael was proud of his son, John Foshee, who did two tours in Iraq, and was looking forward to his youngest daughter's wedding.

Michael was a quirky, religious, and quiet person except when preaching. As a Baptist preacher, Michael was charismatic, and many people came to listen to his sermons. Michael is survived by his children Rachel Foshee, John Foshee, and Becky Foshee. He is also survived by his grandson, Chase Foshee. He has five brothers: Terry Foshee, Steve Foshee, Kenneth Foshee, Bill Foshee, and Joe Foshee.
