Michael Davis

Michael James Davis, 77, of Springfield, MO passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026. He was born March 22, 1949, to William and Calla Davis in St. Louis, MO.

He served in the Army in the early 70s. He worked as a mover, cook, and janitor. He enjoyed fishing, camping, coloring, BINGO, and his 6 stepchildren. He received his GED in the late 60s.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Barbara Pogue; his parents; and one grandchild.

Michael is survived by his stepchildren, George Roy Allen, Jr of Larned, KS, Harold Leslie Allen of England, AR, Val Allen of Springfield, MO, Alvin Micheal Allen of Forrest City, AR, Alisa "Lisa" Allen of Springfield, MO, Virgil Wayne Allen of Ellsworth, KS; grandchildren, Tasha Allen, Jordon Allen, Tommy Cooper, Antonieo Soto, and Keaten Soto; sister and brother-in-law, Lynnanne and Dale Pollard; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and close friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
