Michael Clancy

Michael David Clancy, 43, of Springfield, MO passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026. He was born February 21, 1983, to Dave and Cherri Clancy in Dallas, TX. 

He had a love for music, film, the Dallas Cowboys and the culinary arts. He loved his dog, Rosco, for 11 years. Rosco will miss him. He loved his job and coworkers. He was raised in the Mississippi Delta. He had a multitude of friends everywhere. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Dave Clancy; and his grandparents, Atwood and Lorene Laws and Mary Ann Clancy and Jim Clancy.

Michael is survived by his children, Natalie Abraham, Dawson Dameron and Noelle Kirchman; his sisters, Elizabeth (Aaron) Walker, Meredith (Jacob) Cox; and his mother, Cherri Clancy. Also, his stepmother, Genelle Clancy, his loving Uncle Greg (Jennifer) Clancy; his beloved Aunt Rita (Lee) Martin; his stepbrother, Matthew Fisher and stepsister, Hollie (Matt) Whitney; his grandmother, Judy Clancy; and a host of family and friends, all of whom he adored.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
