IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mia Grace
Richardson
September 28, 2015 – September 28, 2017
Mia Grace Richardson gained her angel wings on her 2nd birthday, September 28, 2017, after being so brave in her lifelong battle with brain cancer. She was born September 28, 2015, in Springfield, MO, to her loving parents Scott and Anessa Richardson.
Mia's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her beautiful smiles, giggles, and kisses could melt the hearts of those around her. Mia's final days were spent at home, surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very loveable life.
Mia loved her Mommy, Daddy, Brothers, giving Kisses, Playing Peak-A-Boo, Patty Cake, honking noses, doing tricks, flash dancing, dancing with daddy, singing, sprinkles, flowers, Teddy Bears, bath time, walks, wagon rides, lotion, toilet paper, makeup, chap stick, bouncing, Mac N Cheese and cucumbers. She didn't like being told NO (but loved to say it), or people to leave without her saying bye.
Mia was preceded in death by her great uncle, Kelly Handley, who also battled cancer.
Mia is survived by her parents, Scott and Anessa Richardson; brothers, Ayden and Cullen Richardson; great-grandparents, David and Mary Carpenter; grandparents, Charlotte Richardson, Roy Russell, Royce Richardson, Kathy Cook-Buehrle; aunt and uncles, Andrea Meager, Peter Richardson Jr., Mike and Amanda Frost; cousins, Petey Richardson, Preston Richardson, Austin Meager, Blake Frost; and so many more family and friends there are too many to mention who love her so much.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, with services following at 11 AM, Wednesday, October 4, 2017, in the James River Church, Ozark Campus with burial to follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
Flowers may be sent and all memorial donations may be made to Adam and Brittany Beauchamp whose sweet baby girl, Brinley, is also battling brain cancer. They need to raise enough money to continue her fight against cancer. Please make checks out to Adam and Brittany Beauchamp.
