Melissa Kay Generaux, 55, of Mt. Vernon, MO passed away Monday, November 10, 2025. She was born August 6, 1970, to Stan and Darlene Page in Excelsior Springs, MO.

Melissa worked as a licensed massage therapist for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed diamond painting and watching her favorite TV shows. She was a big fan of True Crime, NCIS and Swamp People. She enjoyed the feeling of freedom that you get from riding on the back of a motorcycle. She was a diehard fan of Dr. Pepper, Pepsi and Chinese Food. Melissa loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She loved them more than anything.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Stan Page; sister, Christy Mitchem; aunt, Marie "Auntie Granny" Jones; and dear friend, Jennifer Richardson.

She is survived by her children, Joshua Govan, William Govan, Calvin Stewart, Nathanial Generaux, Dustin Generaux and Zachary Generaux; her grandchildren, Jaiden, Aaliyah, Xander, Izaiah, Calista, Colton, Caitlin, Maddie, Summer, James and McKennlee; her mom, Darlene Page; her siblings, Beth Page, Manuelle Page and Lucas meals; and her nieces and nephews, Aubrey, Jeremy, Andrya, Quintin, Victoria, Jakoby, Oliver, Richie, Atticus, Aurora and Twila.

A Celebration of Life to honor Melissa will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
