Mead Eric Hurley, 52, of Springfield, MO passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023. He was born December 21, 1970, to Bill and Richa Hurley in Kansas City, MO.

Over the years Mead was employed at call centers and factories, but he had a passion for being a caregiver to others. He was a history buff and especially loved anything involving the Civil War and Medieval Renaissance period. He enjoyed his dogs, taking trips, camping and anything that involved driving. Mead's greatest love was his daughters, Rachael and Siobhan.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Mead is survived by his daughters, Rachael and Siobhan Hurley; his parents, Bill and Richa Hurley of Independence, MO; his siblings, Mark (Helen) Hurley, Marcia (Bob) Kelley and Michelle Sanders; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; his dear friends, Gretchen Kathleen, Kim Ferrari and Brian Cummings; and many more friends and family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
