Marvin Ellis Van Noy, 80, of Peidmont, MO, passed away March 8, 2018, after an extended illness. He was born November 22, 1937, in Canalou, MO, to John Marshall and Betty Marie (Fortner) Van Noy.

Marvin once owned the Flat River Express Trucking Company. He was a farmer who loved cotton fields and raised cattle for several years. He also loved the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Melvin Van Noy and Mable Garner.

Marvin is survived by his companion, Mary Ruth Huson; siblings, Betty Mills, Marsha Newman, and Bill Van Noy son, Jeff Van Noy; and daughter, Vicky Williams.

A graveside service will be held at Noon in the Patterson Cemetery, Patterson, MO, on Saturday, April 7, 2018.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield, MO.
