Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Everything remains as it was. The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no sorrow in your tone. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, and pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. Marty D Ross, 55, of Republic, MO, passed away peacefully on the morning of January 12, 2015. He was born April 24, 1959, in Moses Lake, WA, to Ralph and Kitty Ross. Marty has left behind his wife, Denise, of 28 years; and his five children, Braum 27, Ian 25, Rhen 21, Leif 19 and Maya 15. Marty was a loving husband, respectable father, and lively grandfather. His passion for his family and for the people in his life was boundless. Marty served in the US Navy and volunteered as a fire fighter for 22 years. Marty was always willing and never failed to help those in need. Funeral services will be held at Noon, on Saturday, January 17, 2015, also in the Life 360 Church, Republic Campus.
