Richard Mark Laughlin, 48, unexpectedly passed away June 9, 2021 due to a severe head injury from a fall.

Mark was born September 21, 1972 to Ed & Ann Laughlin in Springfield, MO and graduated from Logan-Rogersville High School.

He is survived by his parents; his brother, Paul Laughlin; his ex-wife and friend, Larri Laughlin; their daughter, Krista Laughlin; their son, Nicholas Laughlin; his girlfriend, Leslie Price; as well as many other good friends and relatives.

Mark will be fondly remembered as a loving, loyal father with a strong work ethic and a weird sense of humor. His loves outside of family and friends extend to music, the outdoors, and a more recent interest in photography.

In accordance to his wishes, Mark will be cremated and have his ashes scattered in Table Rock Lake: a place he had spent a lot of time with family camping and fishing.

A simpler service will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm Monday June 14, 2021 at Midwest Cremation & Funeral Services; 2026 W. Woodland, Springfield, MO.

Mark will be greatly missed.
