Machell was born September 19, 1980, in Bastrop, LA. She departed this earth on March 2, 2023, in Brighton, MO.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing her husband, Travis Pruitt; son, Reid Pruitt; brother, Stephen Jackson and wife Danielle; sister-in-law, Amy Glisczinksi and husband Joe; nieces and nephew, Rylee, Callie, Jackson, Norma and Willa; and a host of family and friends.

Machell was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Evelyn Jackson.

Machell was an absolute joy to anyone that knew her. Her smile was one you didn't soon forget. She loved God and her family with such amazing love and dedication. She also loved her pets, Hutch, Molly and Mr. Mittens. She had a passion for gardening and plants and was happy and content when she was able to work in her greenhouse. She loved to travel, see new places and meet new people.

Machell furthered her education in the nursing field by achieving her LPN degree with plans to continue to RN. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

A celebration of Machell's life will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 in the Japanese Stroll Garden in Springfield, MO from 12-2 PM.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
