Lynne was born April 22, 1953, in Jackson County, Missouri to Allen "Curly" Everett Bellew and Lillie Marie Zackary Bellew.
Lynne grew up in the Kansas City area until her early teens then moved to Weaubleau to live with her aunt Ramona and Uncle David King. She met Howard Barger in 1968 and was married in 1973. They had four daughters together and lived in Weaubleau until 1992. They moved to Bolivar where she worked as an EMT, and a nurse's aid for CMH for several years. Lynne enjoyed camping trips and spending time with her kids and grandchildren until her health permitted otherwise.
She was preceded in death by her parents Allen and Lillie Bellew, and her stepdad Hobart Lee (Arkie); one infant son, Andro Joseph; one sister, Alana Read; one brother, Allen Bellew III; and one brother-in-law, Leo Bray.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Howard Barger; her daughters, Andrea Campbell and husband Robbie of Bolivar, Marci Bybee and husband Keith of Preston, Alana Brauch and husband Ernest of Wheatland, Heather Barger of Fair Play; eight grandchildren, Robyn, Adam, and Garron Campbell of Bolivar, Kyler Bybee of Fair Grove, Wrangler, Makya, Loyal, and Kahl Neil of Fair Play; two great-grandchildren, Oakleigh, and Jiraiya; one sister, Alice Bray of Independence; one brother, Rick Bellew, and wife Diana of Independence; one aunt, Ramona King of Weaubleau; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a celebration of life at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 25, at the community building in Weaubleau, for whoever would like to attend.
