Obituary

Lorren Shianne Richter, 28, of Springfield, MO, was born at Skaggs Hospital in Branson, MO, April 19, 1997, and went home to Jesus on September 29, 2025. Lorren graduated from Central High School in 2015. During that time, she became a Central High School Kiltie. Lorren was so proud of those two things.

She was known as "Little Lorren" by those closest to her, until she became not so little anymore, but she remained "Little Lorren" to her mom. As a little girl, she was joyful, happy, kind, and her smile literally lit up a room. Her mom used to tell her she smiled with her eyes, because you couldn't even see her eyeballs when she smiled, they would squint so much.

She loved her balloons and the strings on the balloons (flat, blown up), it did not matter to her. Lorren could literally rock her way around a room on furniture. Rocking helped to soothe her.

She loved hanging out with her cousins and sisters. Her favorite was Sid though. They just clicked.

As a teenager, she was spunky, but was still very kind and respectful, but was such a people pleaser, to her detriment. Wanting to please the wrong people.

As a young adult, Lorren was still kindhearted, but she became very stubborn, also to her detriment. The devil had her in deep bondage with the things of this world, but he did not win! Her Creator did! Lorren asked Jesus to save her in 2013. She's finally at peace and gets to have full conversations with her Grandma Minnick now.

Lorren is preceded in death by her Grandma, Cathy Minnink; Grandpa, Richard Richter; great-grandparents; and great-aunts and uncles. She is survived by her parents, Scott and Stacy Turner; sisters, Bailey Webb and husband Josh Webb, Hailey Smarr and husband Dylan Smarr; nieces and nephew; adopted Papa Vic Waddell; aunts, uncles, cousins, and her United Baptist Church family that got to watch her grow up.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 11-12 at United Baptist Church 8000 W. Farm Road 140 Springfield, MO 65802 with the Funeral Service beginning at 12. A Graveside Service to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
