Lorraine Monica Zischke, 49, of Pittsburg, MO, passed away July 15, 2018. She was born May 5, 1969 to Laura Morgan and Terry George Zischke in Elkgrove Village, IL.

Lorraine grew up with a strong affinity for nature; often spending time sitting by the lake and taking care of the various plants and flowers around her home.

In recent years, she dedicated her time to fostering animals, and tenderly was able to bring back to health the kittens and puppies not expected to make it. Lorraine was known to have a special, loving touch that truly revived both plants and animals and helped them blossom. This is a genuine testament to the light and hope she brought into this world, in which she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by both her parents, as well as her dear friends.

Services honoring Lorraine were held privately in Springfield. Additional services will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, August 4, in the St. Mary's Lutheran Church, Kenosha, WI.
