Loriann Amy Johnson, 51, of Billings, MO passed away Friday, April 10, 2026. She was born February 25, 1975, to Marion and Laura Osiel in Chicago, IL.
Loriann spent most of her life in Springfield, where she developed a deep love for the outdoors. She found joy in camping and especially loved cooking breakfast over an open fire. Her dream was to one day own a travel trailer and live surrounded by the peace of the woods. When she wasn’t outside, you could almost always find her with a paintbrush in hand, expressing her creativity. Lori loved the Lord and had a special appreciation for life’s simple joys. She enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers, and to say she loved Snoopy would be an understatement. Loriann had a nurturing spirit—she wasn’t just a mom to her sons, but to so many others, always taking care of those around her.
She will be deeply missed, but we find comfort in knowing she is watching over us as we continue our journeys through life.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amber in 1996; and her stepfather, William Hill in 2021.
Loriann is survived by her four sons, Matthew, Curtis, Kyle, and Jacob; two grandchildren, Baylor and Mabel; her mother, Laura Hill; brother, Paul Osiel; sister and brother-in-law, Kimberley and Mike Caird; nieces, Tori Anderson and Madyson Noack; and nephews, Justin and Brayden Caird.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
