Lois Juanita (Rhines) Lawson born April 10th, 1937, in Joplin, MO to Leo and Nita Rhines.

She was one of ten children. She married Richard William Lawson on June 14th, 1963, where they would have three children, Penny Shaw and husband Ken of Springfield, Greg Lawson and wife April of Springfield, and Denise Hancock and husband Scott of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Penny; her parents; all of her brothers, Leo Ray Rhines Jr, Frankie Lee Rhines, Willis Rhines, Tommy Rhines, Pat Rhines and Wayne Rhines; and all of her sisters, Jeanie Stip, Martha Hoover and Deloris Kirk Bride.

Lois is survived by her children, Gregory (April) Lawson and Denise (Scott) Hancock; her son in law, Ken Shaw; nine grandchildren, Curtis Shaw, Heather Merrill, Lacey Roy, Erica Shaw, Tera Baldwin, Jenna Lawson, Britny Lawson, Chrissy Swisher and Tawny Ryker; fifteen great grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Emily, Aiden, Kason, Gideon, Gracie, Dennis, Dez, Aimee, Lettia, Anthony, Alaina, Marvin and Katrina; her special niece, Cleo Sue Simpson; and many friends she considered family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
