Lisa Doyle

Lisa (Toner) Doyle was born July 1, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri, to James Toner and Janet (Colley) Toner. She departed this life on August 16, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was raised in Dixon, Missouri, and had a charmed childhood there. She was baptized at the First Christian Church of Dixon and was a woman of faith. 

She attended the University of Missouri, proudly performing as a member of Marching Mizzou, which led her to be a lifelong Mizzou fan (MIZ). 

Lisa was a middle school English and reading teacher, spending her career shaping young minds. During that career, she earned awards for Outstanding Young Educator in 1989 in Dixon, and she was granted the Master Teacher Award in 2005 in Bolivar. Teaching was her calling. When she wasn’t teaching, she loved spending her time reading, playing music, and spending her time with her grandchildren, whom she adored. 

She is survived by her beloved family: her husband of 46 years, Bradley Doyle of Bolivar, her children, Lieren (Greg) Phillips of Ozark, Colin (Megg) Doyle of Ozark, her grandchildren, Lyric Doyle, Tennessee Doyle, Aria Phillips, Quinn Phillips, and Dawson Phillips, all of Ozark. Lisa is also survived by her sister Michele (John) Youmans of Atlanta, her niece and nephews, Stephanie Youmans, Michael Youmans, and Brandon Youmans, all of Atlanta. 

A come and go Celebration of Life will be held on August 29, 2026, from 5-8pm, at the First Baptist Bolivar Rose Building, 114 N. Springfield Ave, Bolivar, MO 65613.
