Linda Bremhorst Butler passed away on August 31st at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Linda was born October 2, 1944 in Clinton, Iowa and later adopted at the age of 6 by Adrian and Marian (Merschman) Dingman of St. Paul, Iowa.

Linda was a homemaker, farmwife and also employed in the restaurant industry. In her later years she worked for Omnicare where she delivered pharmaceuticals to homebound and hospice patients. Linda's passion was her grandkids, cooking for the holidays, and making her famous pumpkin pie and stuffing. She loved spending time with her family.

Linda married David Bremhorst in 1963, later divorcing in 1999. Together they had four children. She is survived by daughters Brenda (Chris) Berner of Leesburg, FL and Barbara (John) Snyder of Valparaiso, IN; sons Bradley (Andria) Bremhorst of Billerica, MA, and Barney (Laura) Bremhorst of Nixa, MO.  She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Brianna Goen, Miranda Goen, Adrian Snyder, Shelby (Snyder) Robinson, Cole Snyder, Noah Bremhorst, Silas Bremhorst, Audrina Bremhorst,  and Louise Bremhorst.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, former husband, and a brother and sister.

Linda's Celebration of Life will be held later with a private family gathering.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
