Leota Sue "Susie Q" Cutcher, the daughter of Richard R. Havens and Violet L. Hayes, was born on January 10, 1956 in Salinas, CA.  Leota departed this life on November 25, 2022. Leota gave her life to Christ at the of 16, in 1972 at the Assemblies of God Salinas First in Salinas, CA.  Throughout high school, she worked at Fosters Freeze, MA Pinkie's BBQ, and Soul Food Restaurant.  She was married in 1975 and from this union, she was blessed with three children. "Susie Q" worked for 10 years as a nutritionist for Cox Health North Hospital.  During that time, she received her GED.

Leota was preceded in death by her father, Richard R. Havens; her mother, Violet L. Havens; and brother, Curtis "Brian" Havens.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished and remembered in the lives of her children, Joseph E. Septer III (of Branson, MO); Sarann V. Septer (of Shawnee, KS); Joshua E. Septer (of Branson, MO); her grandchildren, Joseph E. Septer IV; Autum S.J. Anthony (Saron Jr.); Jadelynn Fife (Trey); Antonio Gunnels; Angel Septer; Layla Septer; Gwen Septer; Kylee Septer; and great grandchildren, Saron III (prince); Solomon (Sullet); Waylon (Bubba); one unborn grandson, Dean; her sister, Rena Hall, and many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services for Leota Cutcher will be December 9, 2022, 3:00pm at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W. Woodland Street, Springfield, MO  65807.  Reverend Saron D. Anthony, Jr. will be officiating.  All flowers, donation, and condolences may be offered at the funeral home.
