Carol Leann Gray, 65, of Springfield, Missouri,  passed away August 12, 2021, in her home with her children holding her hand. She was born September 6, 1955 in Jasper County, Missouri to Lloyd Russell and Anna Pauline (Smith) McCoy.

Leann was raised in Republic, MO, and graduated from Republic High School in 1973. She was a stay at home Mom while her children were in their early school years. She was active in their school career as a home room Mom and a band Mom at Glendale High School. She later went on to school to become an EMT, where she would then work at St. John's Hospital in the emergency room. The majority of her career she was being a voice to disabled adults that could not speak for themselves. She was very active with A Sporting Chance. She loved being with family, spending time with her Bunco girls every month, volunteering, vacationing to Disney World, and sitting on the beach listening to the calming sounds.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Russell McCoy; her favorite aunt, Roxie (Sister) Whyte; and many other loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Leann is survived by her bothers, Paul McCoy and Gary Wise and wife Mary; her son, Russell Gray and wife Katrina; her daughter, Michele Wilkinson and her husband Jason; grandsons, Austin Wilkinson and girlfriend Deana, Zachary Wilkinson and fiancée, Brook; great-granddaughter, Miley Jane Wilkinson; adopted granddaughter, Bryttanee Cooper and husband Matt; adopted great grandsons, Emmett, and Elliott Cooper; and many nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 with services at 2:00 Friday August 20, 2021 in The Crossing Church, 5105 N. Farm Rd. 169 Springfield, MO 65803, where she was a member.
