Obituary
Lawrence (Russ) Gillihan, 59, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away on January 28, 2022, at the home.
Russ retired after 31 years from the Carpenters Local 1529 in Kansas City where he was a Millwright. Russ loved his family, friends, camping at the lake and fishing.
He is survived by his partner of 25 years, Katy Fowler; son, Kyle and his wife Taylor; Grandchildren, Easton and Swayzie. He is also survived by his parents, Gerald (Linda) Gillihan and Dee Dee Sterk (Cliff Heeney); siblings, Brenda (George) Thompson, Tim Sterk, Kelly Sheldon, Susie Bute, and Shannon (Tom) Marks; many nieces and nephews as well as other family members and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ron "Pops" Sterk; and grandson Wade Gillihan.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
