Larry James Tinker was born October 24, 1947, in St. Louis County, Missouri. Larry was the son of proud parents, Alma I. Tinker (née Dyer) and Willard D. Tinker, both deceased. Larry's brother, Willard Eugene Tinker, also preceded him in death. Larry married his wife, Bessie Louise Tinker (née Chapman) on September 18, 1971. He is survived by Bessie, as well as daughter, Lisa Marie Tinker; and son, Lonnie James Tinker. Larry and Bessie were also the parents of Leslie Ann Tinker (deceased) and another daughter who was taken from them before her birth. Larry leaves behind beloved grandchildren, Lukas, Alexis, & JJ; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends to mourn his passing. Larry was an extremely devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and son. His many interests included traveling, gambling, antiques, and bestowing compassion upon animals. Larry Tinker always did so much for others, never asking anything in return. He was an amazing man who was loved beyond all measure. The world was a better place with him in it, and he will be missed forever. A celebration of Larry's life will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
