Larry G. Powell, age 68, of Galena, Mo. formerly of Canton, OH, passed away Sunday morning, Sept. 21, 2014. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Grover Ray Powell and Floreana Rose (Ford) Sellers; and sister, Shirley Mizer. Larry is survived by his son, Dennis A. Powell; daughter, Melissa J. Schumacher; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenny and Janet Sellers and Ernie and Jean Sellers; sister and brother-in-law, Ron and Cheryl Knopp; numerous nieces and nephews. There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
