Kyle Eugene Emert, 67 years old, Springfield, passed away October 13, 2014. Kyle, son of Harvey Eugene and Doris Janet (Bates) Emert, was born March 16, 1947, in Galena, MO. Kyle proudly served in the US Air Force was a lifetime member of the DAV. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; brothers, Philip Ray Emert and Wayne Edward Emert; and wife, Jolene Mae Emert. Survivors include sister, Geraldine "Gerri" F. Taylor, Springfield; an uncle, Louis Gerald Emert (Cathy), Sacramento, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be from 11:30 am - 12:30 PM, Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at Midwest Cremation & Funeral Services. Graveside services to follow at 1 PM, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors.
