Kristen Lea (Darby) Inman, 40, left us to become a beautiful angel on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Kristen was born September 9, 1973, in Mansfield, MO. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Darby; step-father, Morris Todd; grandparents, Floyd & Bernice Swearengin; step-grandmother, Roxie Swearengin; aunt, Beverly Swearengin; and two step-sisters, Teresa Evans and Paula Todd. Kristen is survived by her husband of 22 years, John Inman; three daughters, Brittany Chastain and husband Seth, Haley Inman and Makayla Inman all of Ozark, MO; her mother, Judith Todd; father and mother-in-law, Dennie and Mary Inman; brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Janice Inman; brothers, David Darby, Eric Todd and wife Ashley; sisters, Candace Inman, Connie Hortan and husband Stewart; and many nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins, many friends and her church family. Kristen not only loved being a mother to her children, but to others as she worked at the Ozark Early Learning Center for almost 17 years. She loved to teach and loved to be around kids. She was blessed with a loving hand of compassion and kindness. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to so many who have loved Kristen and have been a great friend to her through the years, may God Bless you. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 31, 2014, in the Galloway Full Gospel Church, 3357 W. Farm Road 146, Springfield, MO 65807, funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, with Pastor John English officiating. Burial to follow in the Bruner Cemetery, Bruner, MO. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
