Kohlbe Lewis Bean, 23, of Springfield, MO passed away Friday, May 24, 2024, after a 5 1/2yr battle with ALS. He was born July 7, 2000, to Mark and Georgia Bean in Springfield, MO.

Kohlbe attended Willard School District where he graduated in 2019. During his childhood he enjoyed playing mighty mites football, baseball and hanging out with his cousin, Isaiah Bean. During his adolescent years he played football for Willard and enjoyed hanging out with friends and playing basketball. The light of his life was when he became a dad to Liam Jesse Bean in May 2015.After graduation he enjoyed staying active and even did Tae Kwon Do with Liam and they both became 1st degree black belts. Kohlbe was a huge Pittsburg Steelers fan and loved cheering them on. He also enjoyed working security at Freeway Ministries. He loved his family and friends so much; he never met a stranger. He had a smile and laugh that would light up a room no matter what and that will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his Mimi, Sue Bean; Great Grandpa Baker; Great Grandma Baker; Great Grandma and Grandpa Bean; Grandpa, George Stokes.

Kohlbe is survived by his parents Mark and Georgia Bean; son, Liam Bean and Liam's mom, Crystal Barksdale; sister, Markie Woolery and husband, Rick Woolery II; niece, MaeLea Woolery and nephew, Roman Woolery; Papa, Doc Bean; cousin, Isaiah Bean; Grandma, Ardenia Stokes; and a whole slew of other family members.

We are having a Celebration of Life on June 8th, 2024, at 1pm at River Bluff Fellowship 2655 W Farm Rd 188, Ozark, MO 65721.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
