Kitty Lynne Dee Russell, 65, went to be with the Lord on November 10th, 2021.

Kitty was born on July 10th, 1956 to Richard and Lyvonne (Whitmyer) Upward in Stayton, Oregon.

Her parents were married on April 19th, 1941. Her mother later married Delbert "Red" Melcher November 15th, 1959. She grew up in the Philomath and Corvallis, Oregon area. In 1985, she moved to Lodi, California and returned back to Corvallis in 1988. Missouri became her new home in 1990.

On March 7th, 1991, Kitty married Dale Russell. She was a homemaker till the death of her husband in 2006, she then returned to work as a housekeeper until her retirement in 2019.

She enjoyed the little things in life, like a fresh Coca-Cola. She spent her free time with family and friends, watching television, reading books, and being around her dogs.

Mama will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, friendship, laughter, and love.

Kitty is preceded in death by her Mother and Step-father, Lyvonne and Delbert Melcher; Father, Richard Upward; Brothers, Jerry Upward and Burt Upward; Husband, Dale Russell; Son, Connor Russell; and many other loved ones.

Kitty is Survived by her Aunts, Bonnie Dowers, Velma Dowers, and Charlotte Bodda; her Sister, Faye Knight; her Brothers, Nick Melcher and Rick Melcher; many nieces and nephews; her Daughters, Summer Pape (Gene Pape) and Katie Russell (Blake Rockholt); her son, Dalton Russell; her Step-daughter, Autumn Russell; and six grandchildren, Jerry Wells, Angel Pape, Jacob Pape, Hunter Souron, Emily Peterson, and Benjaman Rockholt.

Services for Kitty will be held on Monday November 22nd, 2021 at Berean Baptist Church in Bolivar, Missouri at 5pm.
