Kimmie Lynn Worthan, age 61, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 12, 2020, in Springfield, Missouri. Kimmie was born in Exeter, California, on July 29, 1958, to Ted and Christine Vance (Triplett). Kimmie attended school in Stockton, Missouri, and resided in Walnut Grove, Missouri, until her passing. 

Kimmie lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, drawing, traveling and spending time with her family. Kimmie loved when her daughters and grandchildren visited so she could cook up some of grandma's famous fried chicken!

Kimmie is survived by her parents, Ted and Christine Vance of Walnut Grove, MO; sisters, Anita (Richard) Smith of Walnut Grove, Mo, Trudy (Allan) Chaput of Walnut Grove, Mo, Judy (Mike) Ward of Kansas, Jerrylyn Morgan (Larry) of Ash Grove, M); brother, Tony Vance of Stockton, MO; sister-in-law, Deanna Vance of Bronaugh, MO; daughters, Jullie Hoenshell of Nevada, MO; Judy Cumbridge and boyfriend Cory Bassing of Wind Lake, Wisconsin, and Lesley (Chris) Brundridge of Mattoon, Illinois. 

Kimmie is the proud grandmother of Bailey Keith, Kylee Hoenshell, Hannah Hoenshell, Colleen (Fil) Rodriguez, Kyle Thomas, Kelsey Thomas, Jacob Cumbridge, Griffin Cumbridge, Tyler (Emily) Brundridge, Austin Byram, Cody (Hannah) Brundridge. A great grandmother to Bentley, Brooklyn, Jakob, Jayme, Hunter, Audree, Parker and Rhys.  Kimmie is also survived by her long time best friend of many years, Cindy Travis of Walnut Grove, MO.  

Kimmie was preceded in death by her brother, Claude Vance; and Cindy's son, Jamie Travis.
 
A celebration of Kimmie's life will be held Friday, March 20, 2020, at her sister Anita Richard's home (11521 north Fr 23 Walnut Grove Mo 65770) at 11:00 am.  Please join us in celebrating Kimmie's life.
