Kimberly Ann Wyatt, daughter of Betty (Osborn) Matthews and Dan Matthews, was born on February 17, 1956 and departed this life at home on August 2, 2025. At the time of her passing she was 69 years old.
Kim grew up in Independence, Missouri, and she accepted Christ, and was Baptized at Forrest Avenue Baptist Church. She was united in marriage with James Gatewood and to this union came 1 son Matt. Kim was married to Frank Wyatt on December 30, 1974 and with that union came 2 sons Shane and Frank. Shortly after marriage they moved to Louisburg, Missouri and were married for 32 years.
In Kim's free time she loved to paint, fish, hunt and never missed a weekly card game. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Betty Matthews, her husband, Frank Wyatt and her son, Matt Gatewood.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Shane (Eli) Wyatt, Frank (Angel) Wyatt; 2 Siblings, Dan (Teresa) Matthews, Dana (David) Louderbaugh; 7 grandchildren, Alyson (Kevin) Simon, Shaelyn Wyatt, Whitney Gatewood, Danielle, Faith, Charlie, and Nathan Holder; 1 great grandchild, Kennedy Simon. She also leaves a host of other family members and friends who will all truly miss her.
Services will be at Olive Point Baptist Church, 18544 Hwy 65 Preston, Mo 65732 on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 2 pm.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
