Kevin James Wicks, 61, of Springfield, MO, formerly of Millstadt, IL, born 08 October 1961 in East Saint Louis, IL, passed away Sunday, July 2nd, 2023, at his home.

Kevin was employed as a Structural Ironworker, with Ironworkers Local 392, for 10 years. In addition, he had also been employed by Commercial Door & Hardware, in Belleville, IL, and Prairie Farms Dairy, in O'Fallon, IL. Kevin enjoyed camping, floating, and spending time with his family and friends. Kevin was fascinated with technology and enjoyed building his own computers. He also loved playing both console and PC games, a trait which he passed on to all his children.

Kevin was preceded in death by his Wife of 26 years, the love of his life, Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Wicks, 47, of Millstadt, IL, his Father James "Jim" Robert Wicks, 75, and Mother Mary Jane Wicks, 85, of Cape Fair, MO, an Uncle William Kenneth "Kenny" Wicks, 86, of Warrenton, MO, and his Father-in-Law Eugene Wayne Perkins, Sr of O'Fallon, IL.

Kevin is survived by his Mother-in-Law Phyllis Mary, nee Hittle, Perkins, sister Vicki, four children: Aaron James Wicks (Jessica Marion-Wicks) of Belleville, IL, Amy Elizabeth Totsch (Derrick Totsch) of Fairview Heights, IL, Alicia Michelle Wicks of Smithton, IL, and Andrew Michael Wicks of New Athens, IL. In addition, Kevin is survived by his six grandchildren: Noah Wicks, Owen Totsch, Maddox Totsch, Graysen Totsch, Emilia Wicks, Dean Wicks, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
