Kevin Dale Cantrell, 68, of Clever, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. He was born on January 29, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Marvin and Barbara Cantrell.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Health Science degree from the University of Missouri and dedicated many years to the healthcare field. Over the course of his career, he served as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), healthcare administrator, and nursing home administrator. He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club, Lions Club, and Rotary Club. Throughout his life, Kevin held a variety of roles, most centered around his passion for caring for others.
He was married to the love of his life, Diana (Close) Cantrell, for 33 years.
Kevin enjoyed boating, horses, golf, football, and NASCAR. Above all, he cherished his strong faith, time spent on his farm, and making memories with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Barbara Cantrell.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Diana Cantrell; daughter, Jadyn Thomason (Tyler Storms), and her children: Noella Grace Bittick and Zariya Skye Villalobos; his stepson, Tim Thomason (Leah Danielle Hansen), and his children: Braelinn Kinslea Thomason, Alina Bieda Thomason, Jonathan Isham Dick, and Evleah Eve Dick.
He is also survived by his two sisters Sharon (Cantrell) Brush, with daughter Minda Campbell; and Karen (Cantrell) Turner, with children Tyler Turner and Kayla Seever (Ryan), and grandchildren Bella and Cannen.
Kevin’s memory will live on in all the hearts that loved him, never to be forgotten.
Services to be held May 1, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, Missouri.
