IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenny
Carden
November 7, 1952 – October 18, 2023
Kenneth "Kenny" Alvin Carden, 70, of Pleasant Hope, MO passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023. He was born November 7, 1952, to Alvin and Opal Carden in Springfield, MO.
Although Kenny spent the majority of his life in a wheelchair, he never let his disability stand in his way. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and teaching kids how to fish. He was very close to his mom and the two liked to travel to country music shows together. He was ornery, strong willed, and determined. His friend recounted a story about Kenny attending Royal Rangers training. During CPR training, the trainer asked Kenny if he would like the dummy on the table to be able to get the feeling of the compressions. Kenny threw himself out of his wheelchair on to the ground and started doing CPR. The trainer immediately passed Kenny for his sheer determination. He was a giving person, had many friends and was loved by everyone that knew him.
Kenny is survived by his brothers, John (Katie) Carden and Bill Carden, his nephews, Johnny (Linda) Carden and Wes Carden; his great nephew, Johnathan; his great niece, Jessica; and his dear friends, David Dilly and Don Clappper Wolfe.
The urn will be placed at Robberson Prairie Cemetery next to his mother at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
