Kenneth R. Ehrmann Sr. went to be with The Lord Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at the age of 77. He left this world peacefully. He was an Air Force Veteran, who retired from the Springfield Fire Department as Fire Marshall after serving 26 years. He was truly a wonderful husband. Married for over 55 years to his best friend Patricia, they raised five children together. A man of remarkable character. He had many titles; Son, Husband, Father, Friend and his favorite-PawPaw to eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is already greatly missed, but we will all be together again by the precious grace of Our Heavenly Father, which is the reason we are able to smile as we write this. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Kenneth Robert Ehrmann, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ehrmann; daughter, Lory Kail; sons, Timothy, David and Chad Ehrmann; grandchildren, Melissa, Rachel, Daniel, Jonathan, Obi, Victoria, Jes, RJ, Riley, Asher and Timothy; and great-grandchildren, Zander and Shiloh. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM, Monday, November 16, 2015, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
