Kayla Goss, 31 years old, from Buffalo, Missouri passed away unexpectedly at Cox Health in Springfield, MO surrounded by loved ones on July 17th, 2024. Kayla was able to give the gift of life as a final wish and was able to donate her organs to those in need.

Kayla was known by her family and friends to be the one whose smile would light up an entire room. If she wasn't cracking jokes with her siblings, loving on her nieces and nephews, or spending quality time with her daughter you could find her enjoying nature, helping a stranger, or listening to her favorite music.

She was the type of person who would dance in the rain, find meaning in a lyric, and talk about how beautiful the sunset was. Kayla was a nurturer and found joy in helping those around her, whether it was her family, her friends, or even a neighbor. Not a single person felt left out in her presence.

When it came to those she loved, she was known to be "their biggest cheerleader." Her family and friends knew if they needed someone to laugh with them, cry with them, or uplift them, Kayla was their person. She had a kindness about her that radiated no matter where she was. To know her was to love her.

Survived by her daughter, Alexia "Lexi" Clinkingbeard; mother, Theresa (Terry) Thompson; father, Dan Goss; siblings, Jason (Sarah) Mercurio, Jessica Mercurio, Daniel (Addie) Drake, Zachariah (Wauneekia) Drake, a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Preceded in death by Robert and Arvilla Mercurio; Wayne and Patricia Goss; Hershel and Gladys Gann; Noah Mayton; and Jameson Drake.

Kayla was a beloved Daughter, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend and she held these titles with the highest honor. She will be deeply missed.
