Kay Katherine (Koebrick) Walter, 85, of Mitchell, SD, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016, in Springfield, MO. She was born April 30, 1931, to Carl and Stella Koebrick. She had a love for beautiful gardens and a great appreciation for local and national art and artist. She passed this love along to her children and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Ann Ellan Burns; husband Geoffrey Cline Walter; and son, Carl John Walter.

Kay is survived by her children, Lael Ann Walter, Barbara Ann Walter and Andrew Reid Walter; grandchildren, Roderick Allen and wife Elizabeth (Sharkey) Walter, Andrew Carl Walter, Joseph Walter, and Alexander Charles Walter; great-granddaughter, Loralie Walter; niece, Wendy Kay (Burns) Owens; nephews, Bruce Richard Burns, Scott Charles Burns and Mark William Burns; and a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.
