Katherine Dianne Bennett Seifner, 63, of Bolivar, MO, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022. She was born December 31, 1958, to Dorse Wayne and Francis Bennett in Kansas City, MO.

Katherine was a musician, author, and elementary school teacher. Katherine's life always seemed to involve children; from working in day cares, to teaching music in pre-schools, to teaching second graders about space. Her greatest treasure were her own two children, to whom she passed on her love of cooking, gardening, literature, music, and learning.  Katherine enjoyed opera, martial arts, and Downton Abby.  Katherine received her bachelor's degrees in music, and Religion from Barclay College, in Haviland, Kansas. She received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Missouri Western State University, in Saint Joseph, Missouri.  Katherine will be remembered for her adventurous nature, her sugar cookies, her inventive stories, and her faith in God.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters: Vivian and Anita.

She is survived by her two children: Lydia and Benjamin, her sister Patricia, many nieces and nephews, and her extended family members and friends.

Services will be held at 4pm, Saturday, August 27 ^th 2022, at the Christ Community Church, located at 4224 S Farm Rd 115, Brookline, MO 65619.
