Kathleen "Kate" Louise McFarland, 76, of Springfield, MO passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023. She was born August 14, 1947, to Robert and Josephine McFarland in Chicago, IL.

Kate was very independent worked very hard to earn her bachelor's degree in microbiology. After which she became a laboratory technician for a National Blood Bank. She was a single mom and enjoyed taking her children camping. She loved dogs, specifically pit bulls.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her son, Robert Wolf; and her daughter, Silver Wolfe.

She is survived by her daughters, Heather Mitchell and Sarah Wolfe; and her grandchildren, Genevieve, Alec, Azuriah, and Mirah.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
