Obituary
Kaitlyn Rose Thongdee, 24, of Greenville, IL, passed away April 24, 2020, in Springfield, MO. She was born February 29, 1996, in St. Louis, MO, to Joe and Kathleen.
Kaitlyn enjoyed singing, dancing, drawing anime', inventing, playing games with her family like Mario and watching Tim Burton movies. She had an outstanding sense of humor and loved animals, photography, computer technology and web design, and making new fashion statements.
She is survived by her mother, Kathleen Slaughter; father, Joe Thongdee; stepfathers, Jason Slaughter and Scott McNeill; grandparents, Elaine and Joe Harding, Noosin Smith, and Donna Slaughter; great aunts and uncles, Kathy Doyle, Judy and Lewis McDonald; sisters, Kimberly Rose Thongdee, Ashley and John Smith, Aliyah McNeill, Allana Slaughter, Meggan Slaughter and Jason "JR" Slaughter; aunts and uncles, Christi Becker, Michael Franklin, Jennifer Smith, Berry Smith, Cristi and Fred Meyer; nephew, Kolesyn Smith; and cousins, Matthew Becker, Julianne Franklin, Sarah Franklin, Lucas Allen, Brittany Smith, Samantha Stricker, Jennifer and Patrick and Ian Hahn.
She was preceded in death by great-grandma, Rosemary Foster; grandpa, Richard Franklin; great uncle, Benjamin Doyle; and brother, Joseph Michael Thongdee.
