Eva June Kilmer, 85, of Springfield, MO, entered peacefully into eternal life with her Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, after fighting a long battle with Alzheimer's.

June was born on July 12, 1939, in Colorado Springs, CO and was the eldest daughter of Willard and Florence Munhollon. June's greatest joy was her family. She married the love of her life, Dwight Kilmer on November 4, 1956, and shared over 60 wonderful years together until his passing in 2017. They started their married life in Springfield where they raised two daughters and two sons. June was a loving homemaker most of her life. She loved her garden of flowers, watching birds, fishing and she loved listening to Conway Twitty. Her home was always open to all, filled with warmth and love for her family. June was a devoted member of Hillside Baptist Church for many years. June was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren that will lead them all their lives.

June was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight; her parents, Willard and Florence; her brothers, George and Jay Munhollon; and sister, Winnie White.

June is survived by her children, Kathie Hicks (Rick) of Springfield, Sally Hollingshad (Ray) of Springfield, Dwight Kilmer (Cindi) of Willard and Dan Kilmer (Rachael) of Springfield; one sister, Debi Hancock of Springfield; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren with one more on the way.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
