Obituary

Julie Anne Phipps, born February 8th, 1943 in Escondido, CA, was the daughter of the late William (Bill) & Thelma (Nan) Phipps. Julie received her promotion to glory on January 1st, 2019 in her home in Springfield, MO.

Julie is survived by one son, Berry Brown & his wife Tracey of Shade Gap, PA; and two daughters, Charity Rowell & Serena Jenkins both of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by one brother, Dean Phipps & his wife Margie of Springfield, MO; one sister, Donita (Dabby) Phipps of Endicott, NY; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, friends and acquaintances.

Julie worked as a level 4 LPN at several area medical facilities, as well as others outside the area. She last worked from home as a Medical Transcriptionist.

Julie enjoyed crocheting, quilting, reading, and keeping up with friends on social media. She also loved animals and had a number of dogs and cats that she cared for over the years. The four cats she had at her passing are now at the local shelter C.A.R.E. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to C.A.R.E. in honor of Julie's love of animals.

Julie's love for the Lord was often shown to those who were around her and spent time with her.

A celebration of Julie's life will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W Woodland St., Springfield, MO. A private family interment will be held at a later date at the Bowling Chapel Cemetery outside of Crane, MO.
