Judy Marie Stapleton, 67, of Cape Fair, MO, passed away January 18, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 4, 1953, in Arcadia, LA, to Charles and Emma Houck.

Judy Marie Stapleton was an intelligent and exceptional woman, wife and mother. She loved her family unconditionally and her devotion to her children was extraordinary. Regardless of the situation her main concern and worry was always that of her children. Judy was outgoing and was never afraid to let her opinion be known. She was very passionate about her job as a home health nurse and she cared deeply for her patients and treated them as if they were family.

Judy was raised in Ruston, Louisiana and graduated school at Ruston High School. The majority of her family still lives in Louisiana. When the youngest child graduated school Judy and her husband, Johnny, bought a house and moved to Cape Fair, Missouri. Judy worked at Oxford Home Care for 13 years which was bought by Cox Home Healthcare where she worked for a year before starting her battle with cancer. Judy and Johnny are both active members of Hurley Baptist Church in Hurley, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Emma Houck

Judy is survived by her husband, Johnny Stapleton; children, Robert Sidney Aulds Jr. and wife Pattie Aulds, Rodney Duane Aulds and wife Pam Aulds, Tamatha Lynn Knighton and husband Christopher Knighton, Justin Laine Stapleton and wife Kerri Stapleton, Johnny L. Stapleton Jr and wife Shelly Davis, Kammy Anne Butler and husband Kyle Butler, and Darrel David Stapleton and wife Brenda Stapleton. Judy is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
