Judith Mullings

Judith "Judy" Lee Mullings passed away quietly in her home on Sunday, April 12, 2026. She was surrounded by her family.

Judy is survived by her sister, Fay and Daryl Ladner; a niece, Kathy and Mike Stanton; three children; 10 grandchildren;10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was born December 10, 1941, in Washington, DC and graduated from Bethesda Chevy Chase High School in Maryland. Judy married her first husband, Sam Baker, in 1960. She raised three children in Davidsonville, MD; moving to Springfield in 1976. 

Judy found her way to Pleasant Hope where she worked as a teller at the Pleasant Hope Bank. She met Ernest Mullings during this time and the two were married in 1979. Judy worked at the bank until she retired as Vice President of Mortgage Loans.

Judy was a great Girl Scout Leader, school bus driver and a church builder. 

The family wishes to thank Phoenix Hospice for their gracious efforts on their mother's behalf.
